Former NTV Journalist and Blogger Yassin Juma Arrested!

Former NTV Journalist and Blogger Yassin Juma was yesterday arrested and is currently being detained at Muthaiga police station for blogging about the Al Shabaab attack on the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) El Adde base.

This comes after Eddy Reuben Illah was arrested and arraigned arraigned before a Kiambu court and charged with sharing photos of the slain Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) soldiers.

Police used section 29 of the Kenya Information and Communications (KICA) Act 2009 to detain him.
